Why hello there! This week, I told three new people about this blog and it increased my unique visitors x2! #progress Anyways, today I watched Kissing Booth 2, and I thought it was just as bad as the first one... if not worse. Three-ish years ago, when the first Kissing Booth movie came out, I wrote a review on it giving it 3.5 stars. Today I retract my initial statement and say that both movies together earn a total of 3.5 stars. 1.5 stars go to the OG one, and 2 stars go to TKB2. If you are triggered by my rating, feel free to peruse the following review I wrote in June of 2018. My feelings towards this film have changed since then, and I feel like I have better points nowadays. Onwards!! The following review was written by me in 2018. I promise my writing has hopefully improved. I am currently too EMBARRASSED to re-read it. good luck.Okay, now that you've read that...I'd say the three "words" that can sum up TKB2 are : Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust. This new film is very elementary. I think it was written by a seventh grader, and then Netflix just needed to put out another chick flik so that they can stay in business. The Kissing Booth franchise just pains me to watch--it makes you LOSE brain cells. When I was in fourth grade, we learned the acronym "THINK". It is used to remind kids to think before they speak.
4. Is it necessary?
This is not necessary. I can happily move on with my life and not care about the movie. 5. Is it kind? I mean i guess it is a kind movie overall, but it makes me cringe really hard, so that's not very kind. As a rising senior in high school, I am allowed to state that The Kissing Booth is unrealistic. The stereotypes pain me because everything is so dramatized. Like really?! Did the directors/producers even actually go to high school? I still can't get over the fact that Joey King played Ramona, and I also can't get over the fact that the new kid plays guitar. #cliche. These are my 2 cents. I hope you've enjoyed. If you agree with my review please comment saying "yes" and if you disagree...leave a rebuttal. Until next time ;)

While I do not agree with your rating, I thoroughly enjoy reading your movie reviews. Therefore, I will continue to read your blog posts regardless.
